How we met:  'Harry' was a show dog who was being retired.  His breeder wanted him to come to a home where he got lots of attention.  I had lost my old dog a few years prior, and I was ready to welcome a new one

Doesn't like:  Being left alone

Quirks:  Loves to steal socks and tissues and hide them in his bed

How we met:  Bought 'Lucy' from a reputable breeder who we had dealt with before. She came to live with us when she was 8 weeks old

Doesn’t like:  Dogs that bark, the garbage truck (she hides) and magpies that swoop
