Thank you for considering leaving a lasting legacy with Story Dogs. Your support can transform the lives of children across Australia, ensuring they have the literacy skills they need to thrive. By including Story Dogs in your will, you can help us continue our vital work for generations to come.


Story Dogs have established a dedicated Bequest Endowment account to hold all Bequest donations. These donations will be preserved in the account and only accessed in exceptional circumstances. Instead, the interest generated will be used to fund the program, ensuring that these generous and valuable contributions continue to benefit the program for years to come.

Why Leave a Bequest?

Including Story Dogs in your will is a simple and meaningful way to make a lasting difference. With your support, we can continue to foster a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for countless young learners.


Story Dogs very much wants you to look after your family and friends first, and then any residual could be allocated to Story Dogs along with other charities you choose. You can choose to leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residual.  We recommend consulting with your legal advisor to ensure your wishes are accurately reflected in your will.

Here are some suggested words.


I give and bequeath to Story Dogs Ltd, ABN 32 603 311 388 for the use and purpose of Story Dogs Ltd:

A. ___% of the residue of my estate; or

B.____% of my estate; or

C. the sum of $_____ dollars,

The receipt of the treasurer or managing director or other proper officer of Story Dogs Ltd shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.
