About: Helen retired to Stanthorpe about 2 years ago after teaching for many years. She loves walking, doing craft, reading and gardening. I particularly enjoy being able to give back to the community now that I have the time

Dog breed: White West Highland Terrier
How we met: We bought 'Nessie' from a breeder after we lost our other 14-year-old West Highland Terrier
Great loves: Playing ball and going for walks along the creek near our home
Favourite foods: Venison with vegetables and her daily treat
Doesn't like: Nothing
Quirks: She is a loving little dog who has a wonderful, happy personality
Amy and 'Eddie'
Amy and 'Eddie' will help children in the Stanthorpe area
About: Mum of 2 boys, Veterinarian, animal advocate and supporter of early learning opportunities in all respects

How we met: Met 'Eddie' as a pup (1st Vaccine at vet) and fell in love with him, and later got the opportunity to offer him a forever home when his owner couldn't keep him
Great loves: Quite times, meeting new people and dogs
Favourite foods: Spaghetti bolognaise, beef mince, chicken and bones
Doesn’t like: Too much energy, being moved when he's tired/asleep
Quirks: He will often hold a leg up when he's lying on his side

About: I am an Early Childhood Teacher and mum of 2 busy children. As a family we enjoy footy, soccer, netball, fishing and boating. We have many animals

How we met: We saw 'Pippa' advertised by her breeder, met her and fell in love and brought her home as a 9 week old puppy
