How we met: He came from the Animal Welfare League in Moree.

Doesn’t like: Dog sports, can't sleep on the field!
Quirks: Likes to sleep on his back with legs in the air

About: Jenny is a retired Lawyer, living on a lifestyle farm. She enjoys gardening and being outdoors.

How we met: 'Digger' is a failed working dog from a cattle property in Queensland. We adopted him from the Animal Welfare League in Moree NSW. He flew to Melbourne to meet us, then drove home to our farm near the ACT border
Great loves: Being with his humans, car trips and swimming

Doesn’t like: Loud noises
Quirks: Loves to cuddle and sit on lap. He thinks he is a lap dog

Quirks: Does not like having her feet clipped when she goes to groomers, so she sometimes has fluffy feet
Cathy and 'Tilly'
Cathy and 'Tilly' help children at Margaret Hendry School, Taylor ACT
About: Cathy is recently retired after 19 years in Commonwealth Public Service. She loves to travel. Loves dogs.

How we met: 'Tilly' came from a Brisbane breeder, who also sold us our daughter's dog. She flew to Canberra at about 10 weeks old.

Quirks: She loves all people and likes to be cuddles

About: Michael works in the IT world, loves baking, lego and getting out and about with 'Bear'

Dog breed: Labrador, Jack Russel Terrier, Pug - We call him a Jack Pugradore
How we met: We've had 'Bear' since a pup. I was around family dogs and moving out of home knew I needed a dog romping around to make a new home.
Great loves: Treats, swimming, my dinner
Favourite foods: BBQ sausages and chicken
Doesn’t like: Not getting to lie in puddles and picking his own sausages at sausages at sausage sizzles
Quirks:
Rolling around in the dirt, usually in our garden, the plants aren't a big fan
Annette and 'Polly'
Annette and 'Polly' help children at Charnwood Primary School
About: Annette loves to read, garden and take care of her three pets. She is also learning piano and flute.

How we met: We adopted 'Polly' from the pound after being surrounded by her owner who could no longer care for her.
Great loves: Car rides, little walks, being with me

Doesn’t like: Being left at home when I go out
Quirks: 'Polly' is deaf and lame, but she manages these disabilities very well
