How we met: Bought as a puppy at 8 weeks old
Great loves: Sniffing, walks, tug of war, pats and cuddles
Favourite foods: Sardines, chicken and cheese
Quirks: Going to find socks every morning
Kim and 'Lexi'
Kim and 'Lexi' help children at Mount Stuart Primary School
About: Kim is semi retired. She and 'Lexi' love walking together on the beach.

How we met: 'Lexi' was a breeder, she had two litters and was unable to have more puppies, so we were lucky enough to adopt her.
Great loves: Walking, chasing balls, being patted and EATING!

About: Charlotte is a retired Paediatrician who loves children, dogs and reading

How we met: We picked 'Bess' out of a litter of farm dogs as she was the prettiest and the quietest
Great loves: Running, barking at farm machinery
Doesn’t like: Cows and thunder
Quirks: 'Bess' always sits looking backwards in the car. I have no idea why.
Renata and 'Skye'
Renata and 'Skye' help children at Goulburn Street Primary School, West Hobart
About: I love reading, Nursing home visiting as a dog therapy volunteer fortnightly, holidaying in the van with my two dogs.

How we met: From a friend's niece whose Maltese had a litter. I chose 'Skye' naming her immediately based on her happy Zen-like temperament
Great loves: Food, people. Gardening with me as she's allowed to dig!
Favourite foods: Raw cauliflower, salmon, chicken and roast pumpkin
Doesn’t like: Peanut butter, bananas, in your face dogs
Quirks: Dancing on her hind legs for prolonged periods
