About: I've had dogs all my life and am a passionate bookworm so finding Story Dogs has been amazing

How we met: After a lifetime with Labradors, I applied for greyhound adoption. 'Foxy' finished racing after 100 starts and came to me 2 weeks later.
Great loves:  Sleeping, cuddles, kids and doing 'zoomies'
Favourite foods:  Cheese, sausages and chicken
Doesn’t like:  Getting up in the mornings
Quirks: He does fabulous yoga - down dogs are his specialty

Quirks:  Loves children but is more hesitant around adults

About: Jodie is retired. She spends time looking after her 2 year old granddaughter. Loves spending time with family

How we met:  We met when I picked Winston up from his breeder on the central coast of NSW as a 12 week old puppy. We have been inseparable ever since.

Favourite foods:  He is a bit fussy with food but his favourite would be roast chicken
Doesn’t like:  Sleeping under covers, thunder
Quirks:  Even though he loves to go on walks or coming in the car with me, he sometimes hides under the dining table when I want to put his harness on

How we met:  We raised her from 8 weeks old as a Guide Dog Puppy. She was reclassified as a Therapy Dog so I can use her as a Story Dog

How we met:  'Dude' is a family dog who lives with me in Canberra, but also spends time with family down the south coast.

How we met:  'Digger' is a failed working dog from a cattle property in Queensland. We adopted him from the Animal Welfare League in Moree NSW. He flew to Melbourne to meet us, then drove home to our farm near the ACT border

Favourite foods:  Anything
Doesn’t like:  Loud noises
Quirks:  Loves to cuddle and sit on lap. He thinks he is a lap dog
